A disturbing video from Madhya Pradesh’s Mandsaur has triggered widespread outrage after it showed an elderly woman sitting alone and crying at a busy bus stand, allegedly after being abandoned by her own family. The clip, which has since gone viral, captures the 80-year-old woman in visible distress as she pleads for help from passersby.

According to claims circulating alongside the video, the woman was left at the bus stand following a family dispute. A man recording the clip explains the situation on camera, identifying her as the mother of a schoolteacher. “She is a teacher’s mother. His name is Suresh Sharma, and his wife treated this elderly woman badly. She is now going to her daughter’s place,” he says.

He further draws attention to her condition, adding, “Look at her situation. Even after being a teacher, people are unable to take care of their mother. She is crying a lot.” The remarks, while unverified, have intensified public anger and concern.
