PM Modi reaches out to Kannadigas in Bengaluru, begins address in Kannada

Ahead of the much anticipated Karnataka Assembly election, Prime Minister Narendra Modi enthralled the people by beginning his address in Kannada.

The prime minister began his speech by saying Namaste and thanking the people of Karnataka in Kannada and later switched to Hindi. He also invoked the 12th century philosopher Basavanna in his speech.
