Varun Dhawan

Born on April 24, 1987, Varun Dhawan is an Indian actor who works in Hindi films. Varun Dhawan was born into a Punjabi Hindu family to film director David Dhawan and Karuna Dhawan.

Varun Dhawan completed his higher education from the HR College of Commerce and Economics and also has a degree in business studies from the Nottingham Trent University in the UK.

Before entering Bollywood industry as an actor, Varun Dhawan worked as an assistant director to Karan Johar on the film My Name Is Khan (2010).

Varun Dhawan made his acting debut in 2012 with Karan Johar's film Student of the Year. He rose to prominence with leading roles in films such as Main Tera Hero (2014), Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania (2014), Badlapur (2015) and Badrinath Ki Dulhania (2017), among others.

Varun Dhawan has starred in 11 consecutive box-office successes between 2012 and 2018. 

On the personal front, Varun Dhawan tied the knot with his long-time girlfriend, fashion designer, Natasha Dalal on January 24, 2021.

The delay of 'Jana Nayagan' has led its makers to approach the Supreme Court.
