Anushka Sharma

Anushka Sharma was born to Colonel Ajay Kumar Sharma, an Army officer and Ashima Sharma, a homemaker in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh.

She did her primary schooling at St. Mary's School in Margherita, Assam, and later went to Army School in Bangalore. She then did her graduation in arts from Mount Carmel College in Bengaluru.

Anushka Sharma made her acting debut in 2008 with Aditya Chopra's film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, which was a major commercial success, the second-highest grossing Hindi film of the year.

She rose to prominence with Yash Raj films like Band Baaja Baaraat (2010) and Jab Tak Hai Jaan (2012).

Some of her highest-grossing releases include PK (2014), Sultan (2016), Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (2016) and Sanju (2018).

Alongside acting, Anushka Sharma is the co-founder of the production company Clean Slate Filmz, and she has produced several films and web series, including NH10 and Paatal Lok (2020).

On the personal front, Anushka Sharma tied the knot with Indian cricketer Virat Kohli on December 11, 2017, in Italy. The couple welcomed a baby girl on January 11, 2021, and named her Vamika.
