Viv0 X300 Ultra tipped to launch soon in India, here is everything we know about it so far

Vivo is expected to launch two new flagship smartphones next month. These are said to be named the Vivo X300 Ultra and X300 Max. While the company hasn’t officially confirmed the information yet, rumours about the two phones have been making the rounds of the internet. According to leaks, at least one of these smartphones, possibly the X300 Ultra, may be launched globally including India.

The X300 Ultra and X300 Max, if at all Vivo is launching them soon, will be part of the X300 series which currently includes the X300 and X300 Pro. Details of the X300 Max are scarce, but internet is buzzing with leaks of the purported X300 Ultra which would be a sequel to the X200 Ultra. The X200 Ultra was never launched in India. But the X300 Ultra may, if tipster Debayan Roy who goes by the handle @Gadgetsdata on X, the platform previously known as Twitter. The same tipster has shared information about some key specs of the alleged X300 Ultra.

Vivo X300 Ultra launch details, expected specifications

The tipster, @Gadgetsdata, says Vivo will launch the X300 Ultra in global markets. The phone could also make its way to India. He makes no specific mention of the Max model. As per the leak, the X300 Ultra will be equipped with a 200-megapixel primary camera. It is tipped to be joined by another 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera, a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera and a fourth 5-megapixel sensor which is said to come into use for improving colour accuracy. The X300 Ultra is also said to come with a 50-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.

The rest of the specs are in line with what you’d expect from a high-end flagship phone. It is said to get a 6.82-inch 2K flat LTPO OLED display. It is said to use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip and pack a 7,000mAh battery with 100W fast wired and 40W wireless charging. The Type-C port is reportedly USB Gen 3.2. Rounding off the package will be IP69 rating for dust and water resistance, according to the tipster.

The tipster falls short of revealing the launch timeline but previously, Digital Chat Station has reported that Vivo will launch the X300 Ultra and X300 Max in China after the Chinese Spring Festival, which ends on March 3.
