The complaint pinpoints to an individual running a meme or social media page that shared an obscene, sexually explicit, and defamatory comment on Instagram. The language was described as deeply disturbing and derogatory, causing significant distress for the actor.
Police noted that such actions not only target her dignity as a woman but also cause emotional distress and public humiliation. The incident resulted in notable mental turmoil and anxiety for Eesha Rebba.
Following the complaint, police have begun investigating to identify the individual behind the abusive comment. They are reviewing the relevant social media posts and gathering digital evidence. Eesha Rebba has not yet issued any public statement regarding the incident on her social media accounts.
Eesha Rebba recently featured in the Telugu film Om Shanti Shanti Shantihi, directed by A R Sajeev. The film is an official remake of the Malayalam hit Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey, which originally starred Darshana Rajendran and Basil Joseph. Tharun Bhascker also appears in a prominent role.
