Now, Madhya Pradesh passes resolution against CAA

The Madhya Pradesh cabinet on Wednesday passed a resolution against the Citizenship Amendment Act 2019 and urged the union government to revoke it. Madhya Pradesh became the fifth state to do so after Bengal, Kerala, Punjab and Rajasthan.

Terming the CAA as violative of the basic character of the Constitution of India, the resolution has a mention of protests that have started across the country after its enactment.
