Foreign funds for protesting farmers' outfit under government scrutiny

The government has sought details about the foreign funds received by Bharatiya Kisan Union (Ekta-Ugrahan), sources within the organisation claim. An official from the bank based in Punjab, where organisation holds an account, has informed the general secretary of BKU (Ekta-Ugrahan) that he has received an email from the Forex department asking for registration details in regards to donations being received from abroad.
