Prime Video announced Bandwaale, a Hindi musical dramedy premiering globally on February 13. The series explores youth identity and creativity through music and friendship.

Prime Video has announced February 13 as the worldwide premiere date of its upcoming Hindi original series Bandwaale, starring Zahan Kapoor, Shalini Pandey and Swanand Kirkire.
Set in Ratlam, the series follows Mariam, a young poet who begins anonymously sharing her poetry online while navigating questions of identity, independence and self-expression. Her journey unfolds alongside her bandmates and closest friends, Robo and DJ Psycho, as the trio find companionship, humour and hope through music and creativity.
Music plays a central role in the narrative, with original compositions by Yashraj Mukhate, marking his first long-format series as a composer. The show’s musical landscape mirrors the emotional lives of its characters, adding depth to the storytelling. Alongside the lead trio, the ensemble cast includes Ashish Vidyarthi, Anupama Kumar and Sanjana Dipu in pivotal roles.
Prime Video said Bandwaale reflects its focus on creator-driven storytelling, blending music, emotion and grounded humour in a story rooted in everyday realities. The makers describe the series as an intimate yet universal coming-of-age tale that explores quiet courage, friendship and the power of creative expression.
Created and written by Ankur Tewari and Swanand Kirkire, and directed by Akshat Verma and Tewari, Bandwaale is produced by OML Entertainment. The musical dramedy is set to premiere on Prime Video on February 13.
