Guy Ritchie's Young Sherlock to premiere globally on Prime Video in March. Details
Prime Video will launch all episodes of the new series Young Sherlock, directed by Guy Ritchie and starring Hero Fiennes Tiffin, in over 240 countries and territories in March.

Prime Video is taking viewers back to the very beginning of one of fiction’s sharpest minds. The streamer has announced that Young Sherlock, a fresh reimagining of Sherlock Holmes’ formative years, will premiere globally on March 4, 2026, with all eight episodes dropping simultaneously.
The series will stream in over 240 countries and territories, offering audiences worldwide a new lens on the iconic detective – long before Baker Street, the deerstalker, or the legend.
Headlining the show is Hero Fiennes Tiffin, who steps into the role of a young, rebellious Sherlock Holmes. The series is created for television and executive produced by Guy Ritchie, who also directs the first two episodes, setting the tone for what promises to be a stylish and high-energy take on Arthur Conan Doyle’s beloved character.
Set against the backdrop of a bustling Victorian England, Young Sherlock follows the brilliant yet impulsive Holmes as he comes face to face with James Moriarty for the first time. What begins as a chance encounter soon spirals into a murder investigation that threatens Sherlock’s freedom and pulls him into a far-reaching, globe-spanning conspiracy.
As the story unfolds, the series charts Sherlock’s first major case, offering insight into the experiences that shape his intellect, instincts, and moral compass – years before he earns his reputation as the world’s greatest detective. Alongside London, the narrative stretches beyond Britain, adding an international flavour to the period drama.
