Mahindra and Mahindra has secured its largest-ever export order, marking a major milestone for the company’s international operations. The Indian auto major will supply 35,000 units of the Single-Cab Scorpio Pik Up to Agrinas Pangan Nusantara, a state-owned enterprise in Indonesia, with deliveries scheduled to take place in 2026.

The order is significant not just in scale but also in impact, as it surpasses Mahindra’s total export volumes recorded in FY25. The vehicles will be deployed under Indonesia’s Koperasi Desa/Kelurahan Merah Putih (KDKMP) programme, a nationwide initiative aimed at strengthening cooperatives and supporting the country’s food security transformation.

Under the partnership, Mahindra and Agrinas Pangan Nusantara will work together to enhance rural logistics by equipping cooperatives with robust and reliable transport solutions. The Scorpio Pik Ups will play a critical role in first-mile aggregation—moving agricultural produce from farms to cooperatives—as well as facilitating efficient intra-village logistics. This is expected to help bridge the gap between farmers and markets, enabling smoother supply chains and supporting village-level commerce.

Commenting on the development, Nalinikanth Gollagunta, CEO – Automotive Division, Mahindra and Mahindra, said that the collaboration aligns with Mahindra’s vision of enabling prosperity. He highlighted that the deployment of Scorpio Pik Ups will help create a dependable logistics backbone for Indonesian cooperatives, improving market access for farmers while keeping operating costs low. He also noted that the scale of the order will provide a substantial boost to Mahindra’s international business.

The Scorpio Pik Ups for this order will be manufactured at Mahindra’s Nashik plant. Known for high payload capacity and cost-efficient operation, these pick-ups are well-suited for challenging conditions such as rural roads and farm tracks, key requirements for the Koperasi ecosystem.

With this landmark export deal, Mahindra not only strengthens its presence in Southeast Asia but also reinforces its role as a mobility partner for large-scale socio-economic initiatives, supporting national priorities through dependable and purpose-built vehicles.
