Moscow agrees to PM's request to discharge Indians misled to join Russian Army

In a significant development during Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Russia, Moscow has agreed to release and facilitate the return of all Indians who were misled into joining the Russian Army. This decision comes after Prime Minister Narendra Modi raised the issue with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Many Indians were lured to Russia with promises of lucrative jobs or educational opportunities but ended up being recruited into the Russian Army to fight against Ukraine.
