AI won't replace scientists and engineers anytime soon: Tony Chan

According to Tony Chan, Former President of KAUST (King Abdullah University of Science and Technology), the biggest breakthroughs — from Einstein to Darwin —didn’t come from big data, but from human imagination and intellectual leaps machines still can’t make.

Speaking at the World Government Summit in Dubai, he said AI won’t replace scientists and engineers anytime soon, but it will transform how they work. The future isn’t humans versus AI. It’s humans, amplified by AI.
