Trump's inauguration ceremony: Who is on the guest list

US President-elect Donald Trump arrived in Washington with his family, supporters, and political allies ahead of his inauguration as the 47th President on Monday. According to Reuters, Trump will host a reception for around 500 guests followed by a fireworks display on Saturday evening.

The swearing-in ceremony is set to take place inside the US Capitol rather than outdoors due to a forecast of "dangerous" cold weather in the capital. The guest list includes outgoing President Joe Biden, former Presidents Barack Obama and George W. Bush, Vice President Kamala Harris, China’s Vice President Han Zheng, as well as prominent business leaders such as Apple’s Tim Cook, Amazon’s Jeff Bezos, Meta’s Mark Zuckerberg, and Tesla’s Elon Musk amongst others. India’s External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar will also attend the event.
