Sonu Nigam shaved his head to save self from heat: Syed Sha Atef Ali Al Quaderi on fatwa

Sonu Nigam has once again made headlines by shaving his head after a Muslim cleric offered a reward of Rs 10 lakh for anyone who would shave the singer's head and garland him with old shoes. Responding to this, Sonu Nigam tweeted, "Today at 2pm Aalim will come to my place, and shave my head. Keep your 10 lakhs ready Maulavi. [sic]"

Sonu Nigam also tweeted saying he would have his head shaved himself and asked the cleric to "keep the 10 lakhs ready." Hours after Sonu Nigam's press conference, Aalim Hakim, the celebrity hair stylist who shaved Sonu Nigam's head, told ANI, "If he (cleric) has 10 lakh rupees, then he should give it to me, I will donate it to some charity".

Syed Sha Atef Ali Al Quaderi, the Muslim cleric who issued the fatwa, responded to Sonu Nigam's and Aalim Hakim's demand for Rs 10 lakh saying, "Sonu Nigam has not done all the things I asked for, two out of the three things remain unfulfilled. I Will give reward of Rs 10 lakh, only when he does the rest - a garland of old torn shoes and a tour around the country."
