MS Dhoni decided to wear wicketkeeping gloves with an army crest and the International Cricket Council objected. In fact, the ICC requested the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to ask Dhoni to remove the logo from his gloves.

Fans in India were left fuming and the BCCI COA subsequently wrote to ICC to seek permission for Dhoni to sport the army insignia on his gloves.
