Speaking to India Today ahead of India's opener vs South Africa in Southampton, Harbhajan Singh said India should focus on absorbing pressure and execute their plans to perfection in the World Cup.
India will start their campaign on Wednesday against South Africa, who are heading into the clash on the back of back-to-back loses.
"I am very excited. The only thing that has changed for me is that I am not feeling the pressure. But I can tell you, the boys will be feeling the pressure. That excitement will be there when the game starts. Later on, it will come down. Hopefully, India plays the 1st game well and gets the right result," Harbhajan Singh said.
"I am confident because I have seen these over the years. The kind of cricket they have played the ability they have, when it comes to the World Cup, these guys will be looking forward to doing something very special for India.
"Someone like Rohit Sharma, who has never won a World Cup for India, will be eager to do something special. Someone like Virat Kohli, there is no better match-winner than him. MS Dhoni, Shikhar Dhawan... these guys are pumped up. I think they have got a great chance."
