Sourav Ganguly, who took over as the 39th president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) said he would do things his way at office and promised to deliver a corruption-free board during his tenure.
Indian cricket administration will move on from the Supreme Court-appointed Committee of Administrators (CoA) to BCCI after Sourav Ganguly was elected board president unopposed.
On Tuesday, Sourav Ganguly and his team formally took charge of the BCCI headquarters. Speaking to the media, Ganguly said there will be no compromises by his administration.
"I will do it my way. I will do it the way with no compromise on credibility, corruption-free and same-for-all BCCI. That's the way I led India and that's the way I will take this organization forward.
"It's a young group and we will have to do a lot of hard work. There were no working committee meetings, I don't know how it has happened last year. We will take note of everything and do it to make sure it's the best for BCCI and Indian cricket. We all must understand we are here to work for BCCI and that the job for us."
