So Sorry: Mujhe Naukri Chahiye……

The new episode of So Sorry is a caricature of the events that took place soon after President Ram Nath Kovind gave assent to Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2019. Protests took place across the country over the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), and the proposed National Register of Citizens (NRC).

Delhi was on egde soon after protests erupted near Jamia Nagar area on December 15 over CAA. The Delhi Police resorted to lathicharge and used tear gas shells to dispel the crowd. CAA aims to provide Indian citizenship to non-Muslim immigrants who faced religious persecution in Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan.
