No need to worry, temporary situation: Expert on Oxford Covid-19 vaccine trial pause

The clinical trials of the Covid-19 vaccine developed by the Oxford University and AstraZeneca have been halted after a participant fell ill in the UK. Reacting to this, Dr Shahid Jameel, a top virologist, said it is "nothing to be worried about" as it is a "temporary situation".

"This is quite normal. I am confident that trials are being conducted safely. There is nothing to be concerned and worried. It is a temporrary thing," Dr Shahid Jameel said in an exclusive interview to India Today.
