Renaming Faizabad, cultural agenda or vote bank politics?

On the occasion of "Deepotsav" on Diwali eve, Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath announced that from now on Faizabad district will be known as Ayodhya.

This is not all. He also announced setting up of a new airport in Ayodhya, named after Lord Ram, and a medical college in the name of King Dashrath, father of Lord Ram, in the district. Now, the big question is will this renaming spree help BJP in 2019?
