Bulandshahr violence: Mob rajya in place of Ram rajya in UP?

The NHRC on Tuesday issued a notice to the Uttar Pradesh government seeking a detailed report on action taken over the killing of Inspector Subodh Kumar Singh and a young man in a violence in Bulandshahr in the state after cow vigilantes went on a rampage.

Violence had broken out in Bulandshahr after alleged recovery of some animal carcasses that right-wing organisations claimed were of cows, an animal revered by the Hindus.
