How events unfolded in Hathras case; Top Babri accused not in court; more

According to an India Today ground report, a huge ruckus broke out over the cremation of Hathras gangrape victim's body. As the victim's body was being forcibly taken away for cremation without the family's permission, villagers came out to protest and had to lie in front of the ambulance to stop it.

Meanwhile, the top names in the Babri Masjid demolition case, including the likes of BJP veterans LK Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi, Uma Bharti and Kalyan Singh and Mahant Nrityagopal Das remained absent from the court on Wednesday at the time of delivery of verdict. 26 of the accused in the case were present in the CBI court on Wednesday.
