A Congress-BJP showdown is expected in Parliament on the second last day of the winter session today. Congress will be setting up ante against the Modi government over the HAL specifically facing a cash crunch and a Rafale.
Both the BJP and the Congress have asked their MLAs to be present in the house. On Sunday, Congress President dared Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman to show the one lakh crore government order document in the parliament or resign for making a false claim in the parliament.
The Defence Minister was quick to retort and accused Congress of ignoring HAL. She also sought an apology from Rahul Gandhi.
