Bengal campus showdown, CBI hunts for ex-Kolkata top cop

Union minister Babul Supriyo was on Thursday shown black flags, heckled and beaten up by a section of students at Jadavpur University, who also stopped him from leaving the campus prompting West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar to rush to JU along with a large police force.

Speaking exclusively to India Today, Babul Supriyo described the incident and said that nothing was done to stop people from manhandling him.
