Jahangirpuri violence: Who fuelled communal fire in Delhi?

Two days after clashes broke out between two communities during a Hanuman Jayanti procession in Delhi's Jahangirpuri, the Delhi Police has arrested a 28-year-old man who was seen opening fire during the clash and has also filed a case against VHP and Bajrang Dal Delhi members for carrying out the procession without permission.

Meanwhile, Union Home Minister Amit Shah has spoken to Delhi Police officers about the violence and has asked the police to take action and set a precedent.

All this happened weeks after violence broke out in some states during the Ram Navami processions.
