Babul Supriyo to resign from LS tomorrow; drug haul in Gujarat's Mundra port; more

Months after announcing his decision to quit active politics, Asansol MP and former union minister Babul Supriyo joined the Trinamool Congress on Saturday. Babul Supriyo to resign from Lok Sabha tomorrow.

The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) have reportedly seized containers with 3,000 kg of heroin from Mundra Port in Gujarat’s Kutch, according to sources. The contraband was reportedly imported from Afghanistan.
