New law to tackle fraudsters like Nirav Modi: Too little, too late?

The CBI today produced the Chief Internal Auditor (CIA) of the Brady House branch of PNB Mohinder Kumar Sharma in the court and got his remand till March 13.

Sharma served as the CIA from November 2015 to July 2017 and has been under suspension since the banking scam came into light.

PNB, Brady House had issued unauthorised Letters of Undertaking (LoUs) to Nirav Modi and his relative Mehul Choksi.
