Farmers stop supplies to cities, strike in 22 states

In 20 years over 3.28 lakh farmers have committed suicides. More than 11,458 farmers took their lives in 2016. The Indian farmer earns a little over Rs 3,000 from farming. While a government peon earns Rs 18,000 a month.

Farmers across the nation have begun a 10-day agitation to demand better prices for their agricultural produce.
