Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman today announced a major tax relief for the salaried and middle class and rebate till Rs 7 lakh yearly income under the new tax regime. She also announced capex outlay of 10 lakh crore rupees, a whopping 33% increase from the allocation announced in the previous budget to fight pandemic induced slump.
