LAC standoff: Army sources confirm 4 firing incidents

Amid the prolonged standoff between India and China, the first warning shots were fired in the August 29-30 clash between Indian and Chinese troops on the southern bank of Pangong Lake in Ladakh, sources have told India Today TV.

After Indian Army’s pre-emptive deployment to thwart PLA’s plan on the southern bank of Pangong Lake in Ladakh, later, suspicious movement of Chinese troops was seen on the northern bank as well. Now, Indian Army has extended deployment along the upper reaches of the north bank of the lake.
