Lalu Yadav in court in connection with IRCTC scam; Hamas releases Israeli hostages

In a significant legal blow to RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, a Delhi court on Monday directed the framing of charges against him, his wife and former Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi, and their son Tejashwi Yadav in the IRCTC scam case. The court noted that Lalu had "engaged in conspiracy" and "misused his position" as a public official, just weeks before the Bihar Assembly elections.

Hamas handed over all 20 Israeli hostages to the Red Cross on Monday under the new Gaza ceasefire deal with Israel. The release occurred in two stages: seven hostages in the morning and 13 later in the day. The hostages will finally return home after two years of devastating conflict.
