Rahul Gandhi to challenge conviction in defamation case; UK parliament discusses Khalistani attack; more

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will challenge the Surat court's verdict which convicted him in the defamation case over his Modi surname remarks in higher courts. The Surat court had sentenced the Gandhi scion to two years in jail and granted him bail for 30 days. He can file his appeal against the verdict within those 30 days. 

Meanwhile, the attack by Khalistani supporters on the Indian High Commission in London was brought up in the UK House of Commons. The British parliamentarians demanded strict actions against those involved in the attack.
