Maharashtra placed under President's Rule

It's been almost three weeks since results were released for the Maharashtra assembly election. Yet, Maharashtra awaits a government. The pre-poll alliance of the Bharatiya Janata Party and Shiv Sena comfortably crossed the majority mark in the Maharashtra assembly.

As many as three political parties have been asked to come forward and form a government. Yet, Maharashtra awaits a government. The wait has gotten so long that Maharashtra is now under President's Rule.
