As the clampdown in Jammu and Kashmir enters its 12th day, the Supreme Court today will hear the petitions posing legal challenges to the Centre's decision to scrap provisions of Article 370 which abrogated special status to the valley. The petition also seeks directions for restoring all the modes of communication in J&K.
Meanwhile, J&K slowly seems to be getting back to normalcy as the valley witnessed peaceful Independence Day celebrations on Thursday and the first flight took off from the Srinagar Airport since the abrogation of the controversial Article 370, after the airport was cleared for night-flights.
