J&K guv defends communication blackout again, Sitaram Yechury heads to Srinagar, more

As the clampdown in Jammu and Kashmir enters its 25th day, Governor Satya Pal Malik has yet again stirred a storm with his statement defending the Communication blackout. Malik had said that mostly terrorists use internet as a weapon against citizens.

In other news, CPI(M) General Secretary Sitaram Yechury will be leaving for J&K today after the Supreme Court on Tuesday granted him permission to visit his party colleague who is among the host of leaders detained in the valley.
