A week after centre revoked A370, J&K celebrates Eid amid tight security

Exactly a week after the government of India revoked Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir, an uneasy calm prevailed the valley on Monday as people geared up to celebrate Eid. Restrictions were eased in some areas for Eid and people were seen out on streets.

Heavy deployment of armed forces has been made to ensure peaceful Eid celebrations. Phone and internet services are still snapped in the valley.
