After SC declined, Opposition urges EC to expand verification of VVPAT

The delegation of 21 opposition leaders moved the Election Commission and urged it to review their vote counting guidelines, after their plea to the SC was rejected.

The opposition parties had sought a direction to increase VVPAT verification from five to at least 50% of EVMs during the counting of votes in the general elections 2019.
