Priyanka Chaturvedi dumps Congress, joins Shiv Sena; Sadhvi Pragya Singh insults Hemant Karkare; more

Priyanka Chaturvedi quit the Congress party today, a day after airing a grievance about the Congress bringing back some party leaders who had misbehaved with her. Shortly after resigning, Priyanka Chaturvedi joined the Shiv Sena.

"I am absolutely overwhelmed and grateful with the love and support I have got across the board from the nation in the past 3 days. I consider myself blessed with this immense outpouring of support. Thank you to all who have been a part of this journey," tweeted Priyanka Chaturvedi as she announced her resignation from the Congress.
