BJP names Jyotiraditya Scindia as its Rajya Sabha candidate from MP; Lok Sabha debate on Delhi violence; more

Hours after Jyotiraditya Scindia joined Bhartiya Janata Party, the party named the former Congress MP as its Rajya Sabha candidate from Madhya Pradesh.

Jyotiraditya Scindia on Wednesday joined the BJP in presence of the ruling party's president J P Nadda and hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his leadership, saying the country's future is secure in his hands. Jyotiraditya Scindia had quit the Congress on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, the BJP and Congress MPs blamed each other for Delhi violence that killed over 40 people in Lok Sabha on Wednesday.
