After calling Lord Krishna 'legendary eve-teaser,' Prashant Bhushan apologises

After Swaraj Abhiyan leader Prashant Bhushan posted a controversial tweet about Lord Krishna and sparked a huge row, the lawyer-politician has now apologised.

 

Bhushan's effigy was burnt in Mathura and Vrindavan on Monday for his controversial remarks. This, after activists of Sudarshan Vahini had defaced the lawyer's house earlier on Sunday. The demonstrators also lodged a complaint with the police, demanding that a criminal case be filed against the Supreme Court lawyer.

 

"Romeo loved just one lady, while Krishna was a legendary eve-teaser. Would (UP CM Yogi) Adityanath have the guts to call his vigilantes anti-Krishna squads?" Bhushan had tweeted.
