Aircel-Maxis case and P Chidambaram: A timeline

P Chidambaram is under the scanner of investigating agencies in the Aircel-Maxis deal for granting approval of Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB) to Global Communication Holding Services, a subsidiary of Maxis Communications, for investing in Aircel. It has been alleged that the FIPB approval for the Aircel-Maxis deal was made to benefit Karti Chidambaram, son of P Chidambaram.
