Watch: Thousands take holy dip on Maghi Purnima at Maha Kumbh

As the Amrit Snan began at the ongoing Maha Kumbh Mela on Maghi Purnima on Wednesday morning, lakhs of people reached the Triveni Sangam ghat in Prayagraj to take the holy dip on the special occasion. Visuals showed the Triveni ghat packed with devotees as the snan went on. Thousands more are also expected to take the dip at Sangam throughout the day on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Additional Mela Officer Vivek Chaturvedi said that this time an unexpected crowd has come to the Mela. "The snan is going on. A large number of devotees are coming here. All preparations have been made. This bath will continue for the whole day".
