Watch: SP leader Azam Khan walks out of jail after 27 months

Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan was released fromUttar Pradesh's Sitapur jail on Friday, May 20 after 27 months. Azam Khan reached the residence of ex-MLA Anoop Gupta after he was released from the jail.

He was issued interim bail by the Supreme Court, after which the Rampur court issued the order for his release.

The release order was sent to Sitapur Jail on Thursday night.
