Arun Yogiraj, the Mysuru-based sculptor, today shared his divine experience of carving the Ram Lalla idol at the India Today Conclave 2024.
The majestic eyes of the Ram Lalla idol, which captivated the hearts of many, was carved using a silver hammer and a golden chisel, shared Arun Yogiraj, adding that he had a 20-minute window to carve the deity's eyes.
He also opened up about the intensive process that went into carving the idol of Ram Lalla, now installed in the Ayodhya Ram temple.
Interestingly, Arun Yogiraj, in a remarkable demonstration of skills, chiselled a statue of Lord Shiva before a live audience at the Conclave.
