Senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh on Sunday refuted the reports claiming that ex-Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath may cross over to the BJP. Speaking to the media, Singh said, "Kamal Nath ji, who we all revered as the third son of Indira ji, has been a pillar of the Congress". Singh ruled out talk of Kamal Nath's possible defection, claiming that the Congress veteran had no cause to be upset with the party high command. He asserted that Kamal Nath could never contemplate leaving Congress given his extensive history and contributions to the party.
