Waqf Bill will enhance efficacy of board, bring transparency: Smriti Irani

In an exclusive interview with India Today, former Union minister and BJP leader Smriti Irani spoke on the Waqf Amendment Bill, Opposition parties' objections to it and more.

Smriti Irani said, "What the government today has proposed will not only enhance efficacy of the board, not only protect the rights of men and women and children of the Muslim community, but also bring about a lot of transparency in how boards are operationalised and are made functional."
