Unnao rape victim's car collides with truck, relative dead

The Unnao woman who had accused BJP legislator Kuldeep Sengar of raping her was critically injured on Sunday after the vehicle in which she was travelling collided with a truck.

The incident took place when she and two of her aunts were travelling to Raebareli to meet their relatives.

The Unnao rape case triggered nationwide protests last year after a 16-year-old girl (then) from Uttar Pradesh's Unnao district alleged that she was raped by the BJP MLA when she visited the house of the legislator.
