Gujarat: Union minister gets shoe thrown at him by Patel agitation activist

A union minister Mansukh Mandaviya had a shoe hurled at him in Gujarat's Bhavnagar district on Sunday.

A 20-year-old college student is believed to be responsible for throwing the shoe and has been detained by local police.

The student, a Patel agitation activist, said he is upset with the BJP dispensation in Gujarat because he felt that youth from the Patel and other communities were left to fend for themselves after graduating from college.
