Former BJP leader Yashwant Sinha, who landed at Srinagar airport on Tuesday was asked to take a return flight to New Delhi.
Yashwant Sinha, in an exclusive interview to India Today TV, said he was asked not to leave the Srinagar airport by the authorities there as he was a "threat to peace".
"When I landed, I was told that I could not leave Srinagar airport and venture in the Kashmir. The authorities told me I cannot leave the Srinagar airport as I am a threat to peace," Yashwant Sinha told India Today TV.
Yashwant Sinha also said that he travelled to Kashmir as a part of an NGO group called Concerned Citizens Group.
